You live in a house or apartment ?
regularly, a 3 bedroom house has a cleaning rate of $60 to $80,
Since you want it to be done every month, you can agree with a cleaning company or crew for a lesser amount,
you can search on interned under "maid" services and you can get online quotes,

In my area you will have to pay between $80-$100.Once a month cleaning are usually a little more per visit than weekly or bi-weekly cleanings. The price would also depend on the size of the house. How messy it is,what you want done. They flooring type, how many bathrooms, etc…. You will get a better cleaning from someone cleaning independently than you will from one of those big cleaning businesses. You can expect to pay around $20 an hour for a good cleaner. You can get one a lot cheaper but the service will be less than desirable.

In our area it is $10 per hour for light duty, or a flat rate of $50. This includes loading dishwasher, making beds, vacuuming dusting, sweeping, mopping, general straightening, taking out the trash, a general surface cleaning.
Most pro services are not allowed to do laundry, open draws and cabinets, etc…
I personally hire someone twice a year to help me do spring and fall cleaning for $10 an hour. Usually spend about $140, but it is well worth it.

If your trying to save money.
You two can look at local ads for cleaning service or hire someone you know who likes clean or someone your friend know who is good house cleaner. In review him or her and have them clean your house for flat rate.
I clean one of my closes friend house for about 40 for 4 hours. If it took longer i didn't charge him more as it was close friend. I was not professional license cleaner. However I am neat person there different. Someone who comes from professional service well most likely cost you per hour of 60 to 80.

Between $40 and $60 depending on the cost of living in your location, and assuming everything can be done in about 2 to 3 hours. If they are only coming every once in a while, then you should just expect them to do the very basics. If they will be coming weekly, then you can have a contract with them that they do some things every week and other things once monthly or so. For example, pictures don't need to be dusted every week, but eventually they do have to be, so just have them do it once monthly.
The best people are generally those who work for themselves. The larger cleaning businesses in general don't do as good of job.
