    go to walmart or target in the household cleaning section and find saddle soap, it's for leather…..great cleaner, should get rid of the smell as well.

    Try saddle soap; it can usually be found at a shoe repair shop. It will clean and soften the leather without using water. After cleaning them, spray the bottoms with just a light "spritz" of Febreze.

    I ALWAYS wash my flip flops in my bath tub w/ a simple jug of 409 and a big floor scrub brush… trust me… it works wonders on all my old navy flip flops!
