Most people do not know how to clean leather, if it is pure leather.
The correct way is use SADDLE SOAP. Apply and use soft brush or cloth. It may take a few times to clean completely. After it it is clean, 1 last application with a cloth and leave it set until it is completely feels dry. You can get real saddle soap at a farm supply store or anybody who sells saddles.
Good Luck

By far and away the best leather cleaner is Woolite. 10 parts water and 1 part Woolite will clean the leather thoroughly. Next you must condition the leather to prevent it from drying out. I use this mixture in my car and at home and it works very well. I have 97k on the car and not one crack in the leather.

What color is the leather. I know this may seem like a funny question, but it makes a difference in how you clean it. I am trying to figure if it is a finished leather or not.
