Wood stain removal from carpets?

Help!!!

I was staining my window sills and the stain spilled on my carpet how do I remove it?

I suspect pretty strongly that you can’t remove it. A stain meant to penetrate wood is going to penetrate fiber easily. I’d get a scrub brush and make suds in the blender (out of dish soap), then scrub the suds, not the water, into the stained area, but I wouldn’t really expect it to do anything more that lighten slightly.

I hope I’m wrong, though!

I have a stain from Soy Sauce on my carpet. It’s a berber carpet. I just discovered it when I vacuumed. The stain is dry. Does anyone have any suggestions on how to get an old soy sauce stain out of carpet?
