I have successfully used white vinegar on every stain on our carpet. Sometimes I dilute it more than others, depending on the stain. Usually it is diluted 1 part vinegar, 3 parts water.

Sometimes, equal parts, and for tough stains, I use undiluted vinegar. Borax is another great natural stain remover. Mix 1/2 cup borax with 2 quarts water.

Vinegar is a good natural product to use for your domestic cleaning supplies.  Use it to clean anything like counter tops tile floors etc. Most of the time I will mix baking soda and vinegar together.

Do you mean hydrogen peroxide? If so it is OK to clean with but I use it for hard stains like dried blood or bad marks.
